Families in the poorest countries are facing high costs to send their kids to school. A lack of regulation of non-state activity in education risks the cost of schooling spiraling further out of control with huge implications for equity and quality.
In Nigeria, this has helped to develop and strengthen the capacity of smallholder rice farmers and community-based rice seeds producers to effectively produce quality rice seed varieties and paddy to improve the competitiveness of domestic rice production.
