It was a very sunny afternoon in Argungu Kebbi. We had just arrived at the Argungu River and here came this young boy who appeared to have just had a bath in the river and over his head was a mat that served as shade for his face.
Argungu is a region made up of fertile river areas and the people here are predominantly fishermen and farmers. You will find life by the river and farm quite common here and as a result, Argungu is popular for its annual fishing festival and the area also boast of some of the biggest rice fields in Nigeria.
